Optical Engines, Inc. utilizes new and innovative technologies in the development, manufacture and packaging of high power laser systems, providing a portfolio of differentiated laser products. These products will be marketed to industries in need of cost-effective semiconductor laser systems, fiber lasers and specialized solid-state lasers, and optical amplifiers. Initial product development will be in the Defense and Commercial-Industrial laser market applications with this proprietary technology spawning breakthrough end-product capabilities.

By taking advantage of the unique brightness and power aggregation techniques that are part of our in-house intellectual property, Optical Engines, Inc. will develop new uses for "direct diode" high-powered laser applications. These technical advances will deliver disruptive and breakthrough product attributes, and allow penetration into markets previously not available, due to cost and performance barriers.

The laser systems approach, developed by Optical Engines, Inc. will provide a competitive edge in market segments for: high-power direct-diode material processing, lasers used as "pumps" for solid-state lasers and optical amplifiers, as well as numerous other fiber laser configurations.

The highly talented development team at Optical Engines Inc. is presently working on the delivery of kilowatt class laser combiner systems with fiber optic delivery capabilities to the military by the first quarter of 2006. Also planned for the first quarter 2006 is the delivery of a similar commercial-grade high-power laser combiner system.

Optical Engines plans to compete as a system and subsystem provider, adding value to product solutions by enhancing performance characteristics, and by pursuing architecture to offer extremely cost-effective and flexible laser delivery systems.
